Member Passes over the Bar.

James R. Corey 89 years of age. Has passed over the bar Sunday 18-July-2010. He was a World War ll Veteran and was station in the South Pacific with the Army. He belonged to the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary almost 15 years. He retired from Honeywell several years ago where he was a tech. writer. He was very active in the flotilla as his health would allow him, he did our News letter for a couple years and enjoyed it very much. He will be missed very much. He is survived by two sons and a daughter and several grand children. Good Bye James.

  Flotilla 10-7 held their reelection last night for Flotilla Commander and  our new Commander is Arthur McNay and the new Vice Commander is still Debbie Huntsman. We would like to congratulate them and we know they will do a great job.

Flotilla 10-7 is the hardest working Flotilla this side of the Mississippi River. We have just a few members, 46, and are always looking for more. Our members get along and everyone is happy in the activities and positions they fulfill for the USCG AUX.

         Next Patrol 

Please remember to include our new members in all patrols.  They're motivated and chomping at the bit for training. We don't want to lose them by making them sit on the side lines.  They can attend as observers until they obtain a favorable PSI and acquire uniforms.
